About your UNM Alumni Association
Welcome to the UNM Alumni Association!
From the Alumni Center at Hodgin
Hall, the Alumni Association and Alumni Relations Office keep the University of New Mexico and its alumni communicating and connected.
Everyone who graduates from UNM is automatically a member of the Alumni Association—there are no dues. To date, that means we total approximately 120,000 members. Approximately half live in New Mexico, while the rest range across the US and 92 other nations.
- We offer numerous benefits—including group insurance, credit cards, discounts, and more. Career mentoring and contacts help new grads and others locate employers and employees.
- Mirage magazine and the Howler e-newsletter keep alumni informed about UNM. Our Online Community keeps alumni in touch with one another—as does free email forwarding!
- Chapters across the nation extend the Lobo touch to alumni who have left the Land of Enchantment. And we offer trips abroad for those who would like to!
- Our Young Alumni association and list-serv keep new grads connected, as does our newest offering—inCircle, an online networking community.
- Of course, Homecoming brings alumni of all generations back to campus.
- Alumni volunteers enjoy giving back to the university, helping recruit students, sponsoring scholarships, serving as legislative advocates, and donating hours and dollars to university programs.
We hope you’ll keep in touch! Please write, call, or email us with your ideas and updates.
