Washington DC Chapter

Everyone's a Lobo!

The Washington, DC Chapter has been active since before there was a Chapter. Our annual Taco Picnic has been a fixture in the DC area for over 30 years. It was combined with the Green Chile Roast to become the place to be in DC in early September. In addition we host an Annual Lobo Day event featuring a UNM guest speaker. We recently started an Endowed Scholarship in the amount of $10,000–half raised by the chapterand half donated by the Alumni Associaton. We are active in student recruitment and attend numerous college fairs each year. We are currently providing a small scholarship to an area student.
