1. How to rent out the Alumni Memorial Chapel
For information regarding Alumni Memorial Chapel usage, restrictions and other relevant information, please visit the Alumni Memorial Chapel webpage. To reserve the Chapel, contact Kara Evans, 505-277-5808 or kevans01@unm.edu.

3. How to get a Recreation Pass
Access to Johnson gym is available to Alumni at a discounted rate. To get a recreation pass, please contact the Alumni Relations office at 505-277-5808 so they are able to verify your alumni status for Johnson Center.
4. How to gain access to University Libraries
Alumni may acquire a UNM University Libraries card for $25 a year, $10 off the regular fee. In order to do so, you must call the Alumni Relations Office at 505-277-5808 to be certified as a UNM alum. We will then fax a letter of authorization to the Circulation Desk at Zimmerman library. You will need to show a photo ID and pay your fee at Zimmerman Library.
The library card is valid at the Centennial Science and Engineering Library, the Fine Arts Library, The Parish Memorial Library, and Zimmerman Library.
5. How to obtain transcripts (both official and unofficial)
To obtain your transcripts, you must contact the office of the registrar. You can request transcripts in person, online or by phone. For complete guidelines on requesting transcripts, visit http://registrar.unm.edu/transcript/index.php.

7. How to be taken off of mailing lists
Contact the Alumni Relations Office with your information by email at alumni@unm.edu or by phone at 505-277-5808. Be sure to include which mailing lists you would like to be removed from.
8. How to find a friend
The UNM Alumni Relations Office maintains a database of more than 100,000 different alumni around the world. Visit the Alumni Association database (https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/UNM/directory.html). You must become a member to search for classmates. Chances are likely that you will be able to locate a friend from the past.
9. How to submit and update for the class notes/in memoriam sections of the Mirage
Contact the Alumni Relations Office with your information by email at alumni@unm.edu or by phone at 505-277-5808. Be sure to include which mailing lists you would like to be removed from.
10. How to join the Alumni Association
Once you graduate from the University, you automatically become a member of the Alumni Association. We are a non-dues paying Association so your attendance and completion of studies at UNM grants you access to all the benefits.
11. How to get involved
First, let us know you’re interested! Call our office at 505-277-5808 or e-mail us at alumni@unm.edu. There are myriad ways to get involved.
If you live in town, the opportunities are probably greatest because you might like to serve on project committees, helping with homecoming, legislative or student recruitment events.
If you live out of town, you should get in touch with one of our 18 chapters. They will be happy to welcome you and put you to work, primarily on social events but also at local college fairs.
Regardless of where you live, you may become an online career mentor. New graduates and students about to enter a career are eager to learn about your experiences in your work field.
