UNM Hosts Women's Golf NCAA Championships
The UNM women's golf team placed 9th at the 2008 NCAA East Regional, held May 8-10 in Athens, Georgia—just one shot short of an appearance in the nationals. The Lobos had won the Mountain West Conference Championship in April.
On the Bright Side:
Senior Alexandra Phelps will represent the team on their home turf when the Lobos host the NCAA finals at the UNM Championship Golf Course May 20-23.
