How Trailblazers Plan to Spend Winter Break
“Winter break is a favorite because of the length. I like to partake of the Christmas activities such as the River of Lights and shopping at Nob Hill. I also make luminarias for my parents’ Christmas Eve party. I love Christmas cheer!”“I will graduate from UNM. If I do not already have a job I will find one. I will also be laying ceramic tiles in my house.”
“For winter break I will be very lazy. I’ll probably catch up with friends and family back at home, but basically just relax and unravel. I’m going to go skiing.”
“I like to go skiing. I spread Christmas spirit to the local Scrooges. I often deck the halls with boughs of holly. Fa la la.”
“I generally go skiing or snowboarding either here in New Mexico or Colorado, or possibly visit my family in Florida. I also have taken road trips to various places including Las Vegas, Texas, Arizona, and Georgia. Many of my out-of-state friends come see me. Lastly, I like to relax, unwind, re-center, organize and spend quality time with my family and the people that I love.”
“I will sleep a lot. I will go somewhere with my girlfriend. I will spend a lot of time with the family/friends.”
“I bake lots of cookies. I chase my little brothers around the house. I dance like a wild monkey with my family.”
“Work. Visit family. Food! Go snowboarding at times, but still not very skilled.”
“I like to sleep in every day. I try to go out of town for a couple of days if I can afford it. Sometimes I go skiing or just inner-tubing with friends.”

“I refuse to answer my phone if it’s anyone from work. I rent movies and veg out with a good friend. I try my darnedest to not get out of bed.”
“I go skiing in New Mexico/Colorado. I meet up with old friends back home in El Paso. During winter break I work on things around my house.”
“I spend time with my friends and family. I work sometimes. I eat lots of food (that I probably shouldn’t eat) and I do things that I don’t normally get to do during the semester.”
