Bernard S. Rodey Award
The Bernard S. Rodey Award recognizes those whose leadership efforts have contributed significantly to the field of education. The recipient may or may not be an alum of the University.

Presentation: The award is presented at an awards dinner in mid-February.
2009 Recipient: Orcilia Zúniga-Forbes
Orcilia Zúñiga-Forbes, ’60 BSNU, was UNM vice president for student affairs and then UNM vice president for advancement before leaving to become vice president for university advancement at Oregon State University. Now retired, she serves as a trustee on numerous boards, including the Meyer Memorial Trust, the Hispanic Cultural Foundation, the National Science Coalition Management Team, the American Leadership Forum in Oregon, the World Forestry Center, the Providence Health System, and the UNM Foundation.
