Lobo Award

The Lobo Award is presented to a UNM alumnus/a who has given outstanding personal service to the university or whose career achievement reflects credit on the university.

2009 Recipient: Debbie Morris

Debbie Morris, ’77 BBA, ’90 MPA, has served as director of UNM Student Activities Center since 1991. She oversees the chartering of student organizations; helps student groups with their finances; advises student government, fraternities, and sororities; and plans campus events. She’s committed to instilling in students the importance of involvement, community service, and civic engagement, and has counseled countless students on school, careers, and more. She says her greatest reward is seeing former students have successful, happy lives.
