Congratulations! You’ve just recently graduated from UNM! What’s next? Job hunting? Grad school? Whatever your plans are and wherever they may take you, your Alumni Association has resources to help guide you in your transition to the “real world.”
If you’re planning to stick around the Albuquerque area, the UNM Young Alumni Association caters to the needs of alums who graduated from UNM within the last 10 years. Events and workshops focus on social and business networking, community service, and professional development workshops.
Perhaps now you have a new job in a new city. Maybe you are going to a graduate school in a new place? Check out the web site of the local alumni club of your new home at Alumni Chapters. Contact your chapter leaders for recommendations of things to do, places to see and be seen, and tips to help you adjust to your new city. The attached checklist will be helpful to make the move less stressful.
