What is life really like beyond the adobe walls of UNM? With each spring graduation, an annual rite of passage takes place; thousands of college graduates will hit the streets in search of their first "real" job.
This unique professional development conference will provide the tools you need to transition out of The University of New Mexico, build networks and resources, feel connected as a member of the UNM alumni community, and set goals that will ensure your success for years to come.
The University of New Mexico provides many resources and programs designed to develop leadership and personal skills for younger students, but few that focus on the needs of students as they prepare to graduate. This professional conference is an ideal format to attain our objectives:
The conference will highlight workshops on career services, financial management, networking, tax preparation, alumni resources, graduate programs, home buying and an etiquette luncheon.
