Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter Lobo Day: From New Mexico to Mars

Lobo alumni, friends and family are invited to a morning of intriguing science, fascination and fun with Dr. Horton Newsom, from UNM's Institute of Meteoritics and NASA for a lecture about the exploration of Mars. Dr. Newsom is a UNM Research Professor in Earth & Planetary Sciences. He is a geologist and geochemist with more than 40 years of experience with planetary science, including involvement with landing site selection for several past Mars missions, including the Mars Exploration Rovers, and the Mars Science Laboratory. He is currently working on site selection for the Mars 2020 Rover.

Menu includes smothered breakfast burritos, cheese skillet potatoes with salsa, assorted breakfast pastries, seasonal fresh fruit, orange juice/coffee/tea service.
