Distinguished Legislator Award

Representative Brian Egolf

In only his first term in office, Representative Egolf has already championed many causes for UNM. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes with the Legislative Finance Committee and was on many committees making sure that UNM received adequate funding in order to balance the budget. He chairs the Enrolling and Engrossing committee, is a member of the House Appropriations and Finance committee, Energy and Natural Resources committee and Printing and Supplies committee. Representative Egolf is a UNM alum from the Law School and is currently employed as a Water Attorney in Santa Fe.

Representative Jimmie Hall

Representative Jimmie Hall has served in the house for 6 years and with each year, his commitment to UNM is increasingly evident. Representative Hall is a member of the Agriculture and Water Resources committee and the Education committee. He has been more than an avid supporter for UNM during his tenure in Santa Fe. He currently is the Executive Director for the New Mexico 4-H Youth Development Foundation.
