In the weeks prior to graduation, the UNM Alumni Association hosted its second year of offering free photos to new grads in their regalia at The U in front of Hodgin Hall Alumni Center, photographing 211 graduates. On Friday, May 12, the Class of 1967 was inducted into the Heritage Club, which is for alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago from UNM. Class President Arthur Beach was in attendance, along with 75th anniversary grad, Laura Grissom Bradshaw.

A starry night is one of nature's most magical wonders. Yet, in our artificially lit world, most of us no longer experience true darkness. In this talk based on his book, “The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in an Age of Artificial Light,” Paul Bogard seeks to restore our awareness of the spectacularly primal, wildly dark night sky.
Dana joins our team today as our new vice president of alumni relations and executive director of the Alumni Association. President Robert Frank selected Dana Allen as UNM’s new vice president of alumni relations and executive director of the Alumni Association in October 2015. Most recently, she worked as the assistant vice president for alumni relations and executive director of the Alumni Association at Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia. More
