Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Scholarships

In addition to the specific criteria listed, applicant must be enrolled full time (6 cr. hrs.) at UNM during the Fall 2018 AND Spring 2019 semesters.

AAUW Scholarship for Graduate Women, Albuquerque Branch 3.0+ Awarded to a female who demonstrates an active commitment to helping women and girls through service in the community, profession or research.
Anne J. Brown, Master of Public Administration (MPA) Graduate Scholarship 3.0+ Must be enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) (opens in new window) Graduate Program at UNM. Must have completed 6 credit hours as a regular student in the MPA program. Must submit one letter of support from a regular Public Administration Faculty member.
Executive Women International, Albuquerque Chapter 3.0+ Awarded to a female who is preparing to advance her current career, change careers, or re-enter the workforce. Must demonstrate outstanding campus or community involvement, service or leadership.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Applicant must have completed 26 credit hours (including any transfer credits accepted by UNM) by May 2018, and must be enrolled full time (12+ cr. hrs.) at UNM during the Fall 2018 AND Spring 2019 semesters, in addition to any specific criteria listed, to be eligible for an Alumni Scholarship.

Class standing: Sophomore, 26-59 cr. hrs.; Junior, 60-89 cr. hrs.; Senior, 90+ cr. hrs.

Leadership, Community Service, and
Campus Involvement Scholarships

In addition to the specific criteria listed, applicant must also demonstrate outstanding service, leadership, and involvement on campus or in the community.

La Luz Chapter, American Business Women's Assoc. (ABWA) Scholarship for Women * Junior, Senior 3.0+ No Awarded to female who is preparing to advance current career, change careers, or re-enter the work force. 

*The La Luz Chapter Scholarship allows for a minimum of 6 credit hour enrollment.

Lawrence T. & Wadette Goze Abraham Memorial Scholarship Sophomore, Junior 3.0+ Yes Must be enrolled in the College of Education. Must be a state of New Mexico resident.
